Master Plan Update

Bedford, New Hampshire

TPUDC and City Explained were hired by the Town of Bedford, New Hampshire to lead “Blueprint Bedford,” an update to the Town’s Master Plan. The team worked with Town staff and a representative Think Tank to craft and conduct a public engagement process designed to address the needs of the community and the collective vision for the future. The consultant team, which included transportation and economics experts, led the community in the identification of goals related to future growth; business development; transportation; architectural character; open spaces and natural resources; and housing and neighborhoods. TPUDC is in the process of drafting the document that will help the Town of Bedford achieve those goals. As part of the process, TPUDC created a number of conceptual plans and renderings for specific locations in the community that were identified as areas for development or redevelopment. TPUDC and City Explained will continue to work with the Town over the next year to complete the Master Plan and see the document through the official adoption process.
